Wilby's Passion is a work of the greatest artistic, social and religious importance, a deeply-felt, gripping and moving experience with a message for our own time and for all times. Commissioned for première at Liverpool Cathedral it is appropriate equally for liturgical use or concert performance, giving opportunities for semi-dramatic presentation and inviting involvement by participants of every age and a wide range of abilities.
