The tragedy which struck Aberfan in the mid sixties will never be forgotten, claiming the lives of one hundred and sixteen children and twenty eight adults. Martin Ellerby's elegy is an epitaph and memorial to that catastrophic event. A heartrendingly beautiful score, compelling, deep and full of emotion.
