Written for one of the UKs foremost High School bands True’s Yard draws on folk songs collected by Vaughan Williams at Kings Lynn in 1905. Three vibrant movements exploring a fanfare-like prelude (Flourish), a tranquil, lyrical slow movement and a lively tongue in cheek finale.
