Bright Spirit is an intimate essay and moving farewell written for Timothy and Hilary Reynish in memory of their son Will Reynish who died in a tragic climbing accident in 2001. Imaginatively and subtly transcribed from the original work for wind ensemble, this version for woodwind orchestra by Roger Cawkwell has strength, warmth and above all poetry. Suitable for solemn occasions or when your concert calls for a moment of reflection.
